Is this an exciting and defensible business model?

Vashi is a genuine disruptor, modernising the way consumers buy ethical fine jewellery: at Vashi the customer co-creates their piece of jewellery in-store. This experience-based proposition is capturing the Millennial and Gen Z market traditional brands are not reaching well. The company has a unique supply chain and inventory model that is both hard and expensive for competitors to copy. Vashi's highly effective retail model is tough to replicate for competitors whose stores are optimised for a 20th Century model. Putting the customer at the heart of the design and build process is an almost impossible shift for legacy players where the brand is at the heart.
