By now most are aware that the containment efforts for Covid-19 got a massive shove into serious this week.
I can’t possibly predict what today will bring, and of course it would be folly to try and predict what things will look like in a few weeks.
The approach that seems to make sense for now is simply to try and make the best decisions day-by-day. For now, all gatherings are still on, until they are not. You are of course welcome to your own decisions at any time, and/or wait and see.
In times like these, concerning ourselves with anything other than the health and safety of our loved ones and other humans, seems trivial and irrelevant.
It is in this spirit I offer you some solace and good advice from the people on the frontlines. Yesterday, Friday March 13th, Family Office Insights members were able to listen and watch a timely up-to-the-minute Webinar/Teleconference about how to thwart the Covid-19 threat. A Practical Approach to Managing Risk. On the Webinar/Teleconference was arguably the best qualified practicing medical professionals on the planet.
I was able to convince my friend Jordon Shlain, M.D. founder of Private Medical (with over 800 of your peers, family offices and Ultra High Net Worth individuals as concierge medical clients) to peel off his stellar team from the front line and convene for the Family Office Insights community his lead professional staff for a 1 hour Webinar/Teleconference. They did not focus this valuable time on how bad things are, but rather what you can actually do for you and your family now!
