The company has raised $8.3m. Current round counts SEI as lead investor. Forwardlane is SEI’s first investment in an AI, data and analytics company in their 50 year history. SEI are Nasdaq-listed (SEIC) and count $1 trillion AUA/AUM, 8000 financial advisors in their financial advisor network and 300 broker dealers they work with.

How will you reach wide distribution of your product?

With a strategic partnership with Nasdaq-listed SEI, the weath and asset management infrastructure platform provider with 8000 financial advisors in their network as well as $1 trillion AUM, Forwardlane has a large opportunity to expand access. This coupled with a strategic partnership with Salesforce in Wealth and Asset Management, as one of just 10 strategic partners in Salesforce Financial Services cloud provides a strong tailwind to fast growth.

What is your GTM plan?

We have a strong institutional client base including Invesco, ColumbiaThreadneedle, LPL Financial, SEI and ABN AMRO amongst others. New that our enterprise product has reached product market fit, we are rolling out a mid-sized offering with SEI, LPL and Salesforce which can be deployed in as little as a day. This channel partner-powered sales, marketing and product plan will enable us to reach more than 24,000 financial advisors. As we expand usage we will also provide integrations to Redtail and Microsoft CRM to cover 85% of the market.

Nathan Stevenson is CEO and founder of ForwardLane. Nathan is an entrepreneur and speaker with a background in quantitative finance, computer science and applied artificial intelligence. Previously, he worked in quantitative research at CQS, a top 5 large global alternative asset manager and in fixed income at BNP Paribas. In addition, he served as an enterprise architect at the JSE. He has been featured internationally as a speaker and thought leader on the application of AI in wealth and asset management for Forbes, Institutional Investor, Euromoney, World Economic Forum, Yale International School of Finance, MIT, Finnovasia, InVest and more.
